I took this photo last evening as we were traveling south on I-5 in Washington. The weather was crazy yesterday with wind and rain and the glimmer of sun off in the distance offered hope. I posted this pic on my Facebook where a friend commented that it reminded him of the wildfires in Oklahoma and Texas. It hasn't really been in the news due to all the coverage of the tragedy in Japan.
These videos give a glimpse of the devastation and shows the work of firefighters fighting these brutal fires.
