What started out to be a glorious day of snowshoeing at Mt Rainier National Park turned into a not so glorious way to spend the first day of 2012. We never in a million years would have expected to be in a place where an armed mad man was on the loose shooting at people in a National Park. The whole experience was intense, at times frightening, and totally surreal.
These folks on the Tacoma waterfront are workin it in three different ways.
Sometimes it feels like it will never stop raining. I took this through the windshield of the car while driving (as a passenger) down the road yesterday.
The rain drops on the glass create a smudgy look and adds to the gloomy feel of the day. The rain reflecting on the road adds light to the picture.
There's nothing better than stepping back in time for a bit of nostalgia. Hole in the wall joints often times have the best food.
