I got to go hiking today!!!! It was a small hike but being the first one of the year, it was fantastic. That mountain, or hill, in the background was the destination.

The mood here is swampy. Mossy green trees and brown limbs are highlighted by the sun's rays that shine through the forest ceiling.
The rays of the sun show up on the picture as white streaks that dance across and shed a soft glow on the green carpet.

The cherry trees are full of blossoms and signal a change in seasons. Time to think about putting away the down parka in favor of a lighter weight jacket. Today it got to 62 degrees. Yippee!!!
