What a great way for mother nature to say good morning. The sun is peaking up behind the mountain with the perfect amount of light.

The evergreen trees are barely poking up in the foreground with the fog canvasing the space between.

This picture was taken with a Nikon D90 and a zoom lens. No filters were added.

When spring comes we find ourselves looking for signs of new to signal new beginnings.

The photo has been edited to add more bright pink with cool fading around the flowers. The petals are beginning to fall and cover the path that leads the way past a couple of old white buildings. The green grass on either side pops with color. Welcome Spring!!!!

A picture of the house is available to see on a previous post. I had to go back and get a closer look at the old broken down rocking chair that sits on the crumbling porch.

As I stood on the road photographing, a car pulled up and a man asked if I was interested in buying the place. I said no and asked if anyone still lived inside. He said no that the woman who did live there was now living in a nursing home.

I pondered the idea that this place held the remains of a person's entire life.

Sometimes it feels like it will never stop raining. I took this through the windshield of the car while driving (as a passenger) down the road yesterday.

The rain drops on the glass create a smudgy look and adds to the gloomy feel of the day. The rain reflecting on the road adds light to the picture.

Have to make the most of everyday, even the stormy ones.
