Looks yummy piled up on a dish all cut up fresh. The black and tan checker board back splash adds an interesting back drop.

A star shaped light adds a folk art- ish feel. A cool app called puricamera allows you to add fun stuff like these twinkle lights.

There's nothing better than stepping back in time for a bit of nostalgia. Hole in the wall joints often times have the best food.

The Kitchen of Enumclaw is one of those such places. It is quaint and reminiscent of a 1950s diner complete with black and white checker board decor with red accents. Cozy booths offer comfy seating.

We ate breakfast there and it was quite tasty. Decent size portions and moderate pricing. Didn't leave hungry that's for sure.

These iPhone pictures offer a glimpse inside

This short little hike does have a view from the top. You could see Mt Rainier if not for the clouds but this view is still nice.

The big fir trees sit on either side almost as if to frame the view of the foothills in the background. The big white clouds are closing in above. It's about to start raining but the sun is out for now.

I got to go hiking today!!!! It was a small hike but being the first one of the year, it was fantastic. That mountain, or hill, in the background was the destination.

The parking area is just at the bottom righthand corner of that mound back there. Hiked to the top where there is a view of mountains and trees. It does the soul good to get outside with nature. A little exercise never hurt anybody either.

I love this picture with the big swirl of a white fluffy cloud that encircles the scene. The green pasture leads up to a barn that sits partially hidden behind a nicely shaped leafless tree. It is March after all and the signs of Spring are barely there.
